Orange Direct Connect is a communication solution designed for corporate institutions that have extensive GSM traffic. This is a Voice Transmission service which employs the channelization feature of an E1 Line to transmit Voice (Usually up to 30 lines on 1xE1). It also has a Direct Inward Dialling features to client's extensions (Known as DID/Direct connect).
Transmission is basically between the Phone Operator (Mobile/Fixed Switch) to the client's Digital PABX. The advantage is to bypass the congestions which might be experienced at times when making calls via GSM Radio Access Network.
